What We Know
Currently Kishida and reputable news sources have confirmed the below:
- No Visa Required.
- No ERFS System Required..
- Not required to book through travel agent.
- Need to be triple vaccinated.
- If not triple vaxxed - Need proof of negative PCR test 72 hours prior to travel.
- Daily arrival caps to lifted.
*Note: There are still a limited number of countries that Japan will still have restrictions in place- details to be announced soon on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Website.

What We Don't Know
Though it is now confirmed borders will open - the official process has not yet been outlined, and still a few little details to work out, like if the My SOS tracking app will still be needed, or what level of travel insurance is required etc.
